Iowa Veterinary Specialties provides medical and surgical emergency services when other veterinary facilities are closed. At least one veterinarian and veterinary technician are present at all times during business hours. We have been in existence since April, 1980, and are Des Moines only fully-attended veterinary emergency clinic.

We cannot diagnose your pet or recommend treatment by telephone or e-mail. If you have a medical emergency, please call and then bring in your pet and allow a veterinarian to conduct an examination.
